What is required of players in these positions?
Outfield is a huge part of the high school game. Outfielders need to be mentally focused on every pitch and know what to do when the ball is hit. Also, they need to be aggressive, confident, and want the opportunity to make a play.
Goals for the year:
Outfielders need to realize that they have to be sprinting on every ball hit. Either to catch it, or back someone up, they need to build good habits now that will prevent any lagging as their career progresses in the Green Valley baseball program.
Other Info:
This is my second year teaching at Green Valley High School. I also coach football here and am currently working towards my master’s in Special Education at UNLV. I’m from Tempe, AZ but have lived in Las Vegas for 9 years.
Hobbies:
Music, concerts, traveling, sports, and playing with my black lab, Layla.
