It is the intent of the Gator Baseball program to build and maintain a premiere online community for families, players, coaches, scouts, and prospective atheletes seeking to join this storied program.  To date, we have been fortunate to enlist the services of Load.com as we create Version 1.0 of GVBaseball.com. It is our hope that we will be able to find volunteers to help in the areas listed below.

Photographers

We are seeking volunteer photographer(s) to take action photos for the Varsity baseball team. Photos must be provided in digital format and preferably from a digital SLR camera. GVBaseball.com will accept scanned photos on disk or via e-mail. These photos will be used for online media guides, photo galleries, and more.

Writers/Reporters

We are seeking a volunteer to donate their time to put together various articles and information about players during the season. In particular, GVBaseball.com would like to find a parent, or avid Gator Baseball fan, to provide recaps of each game.

Data Collection

As part of our goal to create an online community, we realize the importance of collecting and archiving data from previous seasons. We will be putting together web pages and content covering the History of the Program, the Alumni, and even something as simple as media information. This job will require some research and interaction with the coaching staff, but will not require daily or weekly updates.
